Calgary Freeriderz were very proud to send 3 of our athletes to represent Alberta in the Canadian Jr. Nationals in Jasper the week of March 9-13. The athletes were chosen by their RPA standings in Alberta Freestyle by combining this year and last years points. The attending athletes from our club were Cameron Duncan and brothers Colin & Mark Hendrickson. They were coached my Mike Trevor. Thursdays event was big air and our athletes did extremely well. Mark won gold in the M4 category and placed 2nd over all. Cameron was in 15th and Colin 21 place in the M3 category. The second days event was the Slopestyle which saw Colin place 7th and Cameron 19th. Mark was disappointed he could not compete as he had a bad fall in training. He is doing well and is expected to return to the slopes in the next couple of weeks.

This was a great experience for our boys as they had a chance to meet fellow freestyle athletes from across Canada.

We would like to thank the Jasper Freeride club, parents, coaches, judges, volunteers and the town of Jasper for hosting this very successful event.
